Turnover vs deep clean: when each is needed
A turnover is a reset between guests: surface clean, linen change, restock. It takes 2-4 hours and is designed for throughput. A deep clean is a maintenance service: grout, inside ovens, behind furniture, mattress care, drain clearing, and a full linen condition audit. It takes 4-8 hours and should happen every 90-120 days for an actively rented property. Hosts who try to avoid deep cleans eventually call you for an emergency refresh before a high-value booking — and they pay the same or more, under pressure, with a tight window. Sell the quarterly cadence as insurance against the emergency.
